Q: What is the Difference between Direct Buy and Run of Network?

Quick Explanation:
Direct Buy is the method used to buy ads on specific websites. These ads are purchased at set prices for 7-Day, 14-Day or 30-Day incrememnts.

Run of Network (RON) Campaigns are the easiest way to buy ads on ALL websites in our network. These ads are only displayed in unsold advertising space, and are sold on Per-Click or Per-Impression basis.

Advanced Explanation
Direct Buy is the most popular method of buying ads on JuicyAds, especially for new users. An Advertiser finds a specific website to Buy Ads on, and can choose a 7-Day, 14-Day or 30-Day placement. All Direct Buys have a fixed price that is pre-paid by the Advertiser, regardless of how many clicks or impressions the placed ad will receive.

Statistics for the current ads on the website are provided to better see what kind of results an Advertser may receive. You can see unique clicks, countries, and estimated costs for the current ads. However, current and past performance will not guaruntee future results. It is up to the Advertiser to provide their own images, text, and these can be modified at any time to better suit the advertiser's strategy and goals.

Buyers looking to improve clicks may use very "clicky" images while an advertiser looking only for qualified clicks may provide images that are less clicky, but may yield better targetted results. Direct Buy ads are placed instantly and quickly, and can be managed from the "Manage My Ads" page.

Run of Network (RON) Campaigns
Our Run of Network system is commonly referred to as "Filler Ads" and are meant for large-scale promotion for long-term advertisers. These are purchased on a CPM or Pay-Per-Click basis. There is a minimum budget required, and a minimum CPC depending on demand. You can set up with as many (or few) image sizes as you want, and choose from a variety of targetting options. If you want to get started, here's what you need to do:

  1. Complete the Minimum Deposit
  2. Request a Campaign
  3. Wait for Approval, you will get an email.
  4. Login to update your campaign, and upload your ads.

Q: How Do I Load My Account?
Visit the "My Account" page and click the "Load Account" button. You will be taken to our payment page. Each payment method has different instructions, so please follow the instructions to load your account with your chosen method.


Q: What Payments do you Accept? When will my account be loaded?
Our digital payments include all major Credit Cards, ePassporte, and Paypal. We can also accept Wire payments and Cheques. Credit Card and Paypal payments are INSTANT. ePassporte payments can take 24-48 hours.


Q: How Do I Buy Ads?
Direct Buy (pre-paid flat rate method):
  1. Just search or browse the "Buy Ads" page to browse Websites meeting your criteria.
  2. Each Website has AdZones that contain Ad(s) that you can purchase.
  3. When you find one that you would like to purchase, simply click the "Buy Now" button.
  4. Fill out the required information including your URL, text, and image.
  5. When you click the "Buy Now" button the ad is purchased instantly.
Run of Network Campaign (pay per click or impressions method method):
  1. On the "Manage My Ads" page in the "Campaigns" area, click "Request a Campaign"
  2. Fill out the form with the details for your campaign. Click "Submit Request"
  3. Your campaign will be reviewed by JuicyAds within 24 hours.
  4. When approved, you will receive an email with further instructions.


Q: When Will my Ads Appear on the Website?
Ads purchased on specific websites are placed INSTANTLY upon purchase. Run of Network ads will start to appear within an hour after changes.


Q: What if a Publisher Does Not Like my Ad?
Publishers may reject or refund an ad at any time for any reason. To avoid this, make sure to ready the Rules for the zones you buy on and ensure you are placing Ads that match the content level of the website. The Advertiser will receive a refund for the unused time, and the Publisher will be paid for the delivered time. You may re-buy any ad as long as you follow the Publisher's rules, requests, or specific reasons for rejection. Publishers may also block any RON campaigns they do not approve of.


Q: Can I Change My Ad?
Advertisers can change any Ad at any time from the "Manage My Ads" page. Campaigns can be changed from this page also.


Q: What is AutoRenewal and how does it work?
You can automatically Renew Ads by turning on AutoRenew. Payment will come from your Account Balance only. We do not charge your credit cards or other accounts for AutoRenew payments.

Your original purchase price will be Locked in when you choose AutoRenew, and it will not change. However, Publishers may cancel or refund AutoRenewals at any time, especially if prices have changed significantly.

AutoRenew can be activated or deactivated at any time.


Q: After Buying an Ad, why did the Price Change?
Ads are priced by the current clicks for the ads. When Advertisers buy an Ad, they always affect the price in some way since a new Ad has been added into the mix.


Q: How Do I Sell Ads on my Website?
You can start selling ads on your website by first Adding your website to our network from the "Sell Ads" page. You will be taken through the process automatically. Once you have Added Your Website and Created A Aone you must copy and paste the Code onto your website. Our system will start tracking statistics immediately. Your website will appear on the marketplace within 48 hours and all space will be available for sale.


Q: What are Filler Ads?
FillerAds are Run of Network Ads, that are run across all websites in our network, instead of an advertiser buying on specific websites. All websites that have unsold inventory display some FillerAds, depending on your specific settings.


Q: How Do I Price my Ads?
JuicyAds is an open marketplace and how you price your ads is completely up to you. There are many variables to consider when pricing a zone such as Country Origin of Traffic, Volume of Traffic, and Clicks and Impressions. Many publishers prefer to set specific prices Manually so they are guarunteed a specific Price for their space. Most use our AutoPricing option to have your price set daily based on the amount of clicks to your ads. Every website is different so there is no 'formula' to set prices, some websites can demand higher prices and others are not so lucky. Its all about supply and demand.

It is possible to 'Disable' any zone, especially if its new and you want to see how much traffic it receives before setting final prices. You will need to set your zone back to 'Available' when you are ready to sell the space.


Q: How Do I Rotate My Own Ads?
By default, all new Zones will display Run of Network Ads (FillerAds). If you prefer to rotate your own ads, you can do this from the 'Manage My Ads' page. You may still randomly see Network Ads inserted, even if you rotate your own ads. We encourage you to choose Network Ads OR Your Own Ads, depending on your specific needs. Its your choice.


Q: Why are my Websites or Zones not showing up?
It takes 24-48 hours for the statistics to be populated for a new zone. Your zones will not show up unless they have a full day of stats. Zones will NOT show up if they do not receiving clicks or impressions.


Q: How do I make More Money?
By increasing the clicks to your Ads with better placement. Poor placement will result in poor earnings. Placing zones in prominent places (and as close to the Left side of the page as possible) will increase clicks and earnings.

You can improve your Direct Ad sales by:

  • Add a 'Your Add Here' link to your AdZones.
  • Place a link to JuicyAds at the bottom of your website as 'Advertising' that links to your website profile.

  • Q: When Do I Get Paid?
    Anytime you want. All you have to do is Request a Payment from 'My Account' and you will be paid. The payout minimum is $100.

    Payments for Direct Buy ad spots are paid to your Account Balance after the full duration of the advertisment has been completed. For example, Payment for a 14-day Ad will be paid out after the 14th day, when the ad expires.

    Run of Network Ads (or FillerAds) are paid out after 7-Days (Net7) and will be automatically added to your account balance.


    Q: What is "Pending (Filler Ads)"?
    This is the money you have earned from Filler Ads. This is the total for the previous 7 days. So if you earned money on the 1st, that day's amount will be added to your account balance after 7 days (on the 8th).

    This is a rolling balance, and may shift up and down as your earnings increase or pending payments are transferred to your account balance.


    Q: What are my Payment Options?
    We pay by Cheque, Wire, Paypal, and ePassporte.


    Q: What is your Commission and Fees?
    JuicyAds is FREE to use, we only take commission when you sell an ad. Our base commission is 25% which includes customer service for your clients, payment processing, advertising, bandwidth, and much more. Our rates are comparable or better than competing Ad Networks.

    If you have high value websites or advertising space, our commission rate is negotiable. Just contact us to discuss.


    Q: When and Why do I need to be Verified?
    You need to be Verified to Load your Account, or to Request Payments.
    We provide automatic Phone Verification, but known companies can contact us directly for manual Verification.

    We require Verification to reduce fraud, to protect both our Publishers and Advertisers.


    Q: My verification failed. Why is my phone number blocked? Why can't it be verified?
    We do not allow the verification of certain phone number types because they are considered "anonymous." These phone numbers can be easily obtained and do not provide any protection for our clients, so we block them from being used for verification. This includes Google Voice, Skype, prepaid mobile, and all non-permanent VOIP.

    We allow the following phone number types:

  • Permanent (Contract) Mobile
  • Permanent VOIP
  • Landlines

  • Q: What are the Country Traffic Tiers?
    We group each country by Tier according to many internal factors. You may see countries ranked by Tiers or Color throughout our system.

    Tier 1 (Green) traffic is from primarily developed, English speaking countries.
    Tier 2 (Yellow) traffic is from primarily developed, European countries.
    Tier 3 (Red) traffic is everything else, not included in the other tiers.

    We work in cooperation with related and affected sponsors and hosting companies to report any fraudulent activity that occurs on our system. Anyone attempting to profit from fraud will be reported and will have any related affiliate accounts and hosting accounts terminated.


    Q: How does JuicyAds handle Fraud?
    JuicyAds has very strong anti-fraud policies. We have zero tolerance for all forms of fraud on both Publisher and Advertiser sides. We actively detect and prevent credit card fraud, click fraud, and other forms of system manipulation. When fraud is detected we act accordingly in response, and take steps to better protect our clients from new forms of fraud in the future.

    We work in cooperation with related and affected sponsors and hosting companies to report any fraudulent activity that occurs on our system. Anyone attempting to profit from fraud will be reported and will have any related affiliate accounts and hosting accounts terminated.


    Q: Why are my Stats in JuicyAds Different than my own Stats program?
    Our statistics are based on the current ads on any specific zone. We ensure that our stats are as accurate as possible, but its rare that any two stats programs actually match exactly. Only valid clicks are tracked by our system and invalid clicks are filtered out. We do not accept or track fraudulent clicks, traffic from hitbots or other automated clicks, and we do not accept clicks from outside our adzone iframes.

    Remember also that ads are delivered in an iFrame and sometimes surfers close the window quicker than the iframe can load, this may affect impression statistics. Clicks on the other hand are forced to run through a counter before the hit is delivered, so clicks are always counted properly.


    Q: What's with all these Non-Standard Ad Sizes?
    We offer many standard sizes including 300x250, 468x60, 728x90, but many of our publishers prefer Ad Sizes that fit their website, so they choose something that works for them or can also create Custom Sizes. Often these ads are more effective than "standard" sizes which are often easily recognized as Ads.
